Hallonbergen, Sweden: A woman and her husband were murdered, and the suspects laughed upon arrest

On March 6, a 39-year-old woman had her throat cut in her home in this suburb north of Stockholm. When the police arrived on the scene, one of the criminals stabbed her 40-year-old husband as well, and he subsequently died. The couple were the parents of young children.

The reports indicate that one of the victims may have been a witness to another, earlier murder and was planning to testify.
“They laughed when they arrived at the police station,” says a police source. However, since both of the suspects are minors, they can only serve up to a maximum of two years in prison.

“They sat down and laughed and were very aggressive,” the police source said. “It makes you sick to your stomach to know that they will be on the streets again in two years.”
“All have foreign names,” he said. “I know that one is African. I think the others came from the Middle East or North Africa.”
