Since 7 this morning, more than 3,300 polling places have been operating to serve some 1.7 million eligible Slovene voters. This election marks the eighth time since the end of Communism that the members of the new Parliament, which is composed of 90 representatives, will be chosen. According to exit polls, Janša and his SDS party are leading.
