Dozens of migrants provoke a riot to prevent police from expelling a Gambian migrant; 30 are arrested

In trying to expel an asylum-seeker who was rejected, the police faced fierce resistance. Last Wednesday morning, police arrived at a reception center to expel a Gambian national whose request had been denied. However, some 50 migrants tried to prevent deportation by fighting back. The violence lasted all day.

30 individuals were arrested for assault and for making insults against the police. A deportation warrant was issued against several other migrants who participated in the riots.
